You don’t have to wait until you are 17 years old to start learning to drive.

Master all the basics of driving a car in a safe and secure environment with the help of a fully qualified Hoot Hoot Driving Instructor. All our instructors have been CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) checked and drive dual controlled fully insured cars.

Learning to drive on public roads is difficult at the best of times without the added difficulty of learning the controls of a car.

Imagine how much quicker it will be to pass your driving test when you reach 17 after you have completed our pre-driver training course. You won’t need to waste any time mastering the controls of the car and you will feel much more confident to drive on public roads.

Although these courses are aimed at 14 to 17 year olds, they are also ideally suited to you if you are of a nervous disposition and find the prospect of learning to drive frightening.

Our under 17 driving courses will allow you the time to understand and develop the necessary skills of driving without the worry of other road users. Each course will cover:

Controls
Moving off & stopping
Controlled stop
Manoeuvres*
Mirror work
Mastering gear changes
Wheel change (weather permitting)
Vehicle maintenance

One-to-One TrainingBenefit from one to one training with your instructor without any car sharing or waiting for your turn. This course starts at 9.30am and finishes at 1pm giving 3 hours of tuition with a 30 minute break.
Cost £150 per person

Group Training3-6 people sharing two instructors and two cars. Whilst maintaining safety, an element of competition can be introduce to this course to make a really fun and informative day. The course starts at 9.30am and finishes at 4pm giving 6 hours of tuition with a 30 minute break.
Cost £360 for the group

Theory will be kept to a minimum so as to optimise your time in the car apart from an initial 10 minute safety briefing at the start of your course. Crib sheets will be supplied for the areas covered to help you remember the skills you have learnt.

Parents are very welcome to attend (don’t forget your camera/video) and certificates will be issued at the end of your course along with discount vouchers for further driving lessons. Coffee and toilet facilities are available on site.
